Still Concern on Quadra-Lift in 2014?

Hi, I'm new around here but I've been reading some of the old threads on QL problems. I'm wondering if these problems have been addressed in the 2014s or is it still an issue or unknown?

I'm considering a GC Limited with the CRD engine. It appears that QL is part of the Off Road 2 package. Are people just ordering the Off Road 1 and the tow package which seems to cover most of OR2 to avoid QL? What would I be giving up not getting QL, softer ride and ability to raise/lower height? The park lowering feature sounds nice since my wife is only 4'11" tall.
