OK- time has come for some new tyres - same old same old can't find any 'All Terrain' OE size 20 inch tyres.
I am looking to changa down to 18 inch rims - seems to be a greater choise.
The CRD Limited I have cam with the 'performance pack' (20 inch rims + performance breaks)

Will 18 rims fits over the performance breaks?

Unless it changed in '14, any WK2 18" should fit over the brakes. 17s have the problem.

The diesel and the hemi are supposed to have the same brakes.
However, you might want to check with local dealers--they might be delighted to trade your 20's for some 18's and check brake clearance for you.

I go back and forth from Jeep WK2 20" to Jeep WK2 18" no problem with HD brakes on a Hemi Overland. As said above, the 17" will not clear.

Note the Nitto Terra Grapplers are available in stock 20" size.

The Code for the EURO brakes are BR1
THe code for Heavy duty brakes are BR6 They utilize the same components.

350mm vented rotors on the front axle
330mm vented rotors on the rear axle. BR1 brake package minimum wheel diameter is 18"


Like Moosehead said you should have no issues changing down to an 18" wheel if you could not find a tire to your liking in the 20" size.
