bro you gotta go!!! imagine sm bass and how they fight!!! now multiply that times 100 and you have blue fish!!! one straightened out my 45lb swivel!!! and also smoked my reel!!!

i been blue fishing lots. they call them choppers around LI.

I once went fishing for them off coast of Maine. It got to the point where we just couldnt reel any more in.....arms were so tired. told the mate "cut the F'ing line or reel it in yourself".

yeah man during a bluefish blitz it can get intense!!!! u get tired they are very strong!!! they call them gators here

yeah me too!!! i've been trying to catch them for 3 years now!!! sucks nothing yet!!! i've been told blues fight a lot more than stripers

Welcome. I myself haven't gone to my 5year reunion and have no plans to go to my 10year this summer either. Nor have I got to do any fishing But my Mom caught a LM bass that was almost 5lbs; and my neighbor just caught his first ever Marlin! at 135lbs he faught that bugger for over 2 hours!!!
