Hey all,

Just found out I will be getting my refund back by the end of the week and plan to spend 1/2 of it on the Jeep, which will be about $1000 to spend. I usually mod a vehicle and take a trip with my refund money.

Here are my plans:
Mirror caps color matched (not sure on price, will get quotes on Friday)
Front tow hooks
Hypertech Interceptor or Intune DCX
Volant CAI
Possibly: Get quotes on color matching the lower bumper and side trim (dependant on price I may do this rather than the tuning and/or CAI.)

What are you plans or ideas?

Color match the lower trim. I need 9 parts from a brilliant black 2014 Overland, unless those are not painted, then I'll still get them as they will be smooth and have them painted, and have the lower front valence smoothed and painted brilliant black along with the fog bezels. I might have the inner mesh of the grille painted gloss black. All of this depends on price.

I already ordered and paid for LED fog bulbs and LED license plate bulbs.

Got my tax refunds (federal and state) back a few weeks ago already.

IMO, the color matching looks terrible on these trucks. Yours has a nice white and black look going on, painting those bits in white would harm its looks IMO.

Yah, i've been going back and forth with the idea...its lower in priority and I imagine I will get some pretty high quotes to do it, so mirror caps and maybe fog bezels may be all I do in the paint department.

I've always wanted to paint the lowers, just cannot find a shop that will warrant it as they do rest of the body. If paint does bond properly, seems like trail rash pits it up. YMMV.
