I got my windows tinted, clear bra, and tail lights smoked and asked the same shop to put on some tests pieces of vinyl on the chrome around the windows. The left side has the carbon fiber and the right side has flat black. Kind of hard to see... pics kind of suck... couldn't get very good ones that day.

I would go with the black just because there is no other CF on the exterior and I feel (personally) it will look out of place.

Agreed with the above poster, the CF looks off with nothing else to go with it.
