Hi all,

I figured I would share how I updated my stereo.

2007 Grand Cherokee Limited is what I installed it in.

3years ago my headunit, the one with 6disc and navigation, partially died. I was able to continue to use the apple usb(aftermarket) which I had installed, even though the screen went out. This was bcus some of the buttons, like source, still worked. But I was only able to use an apple phone bcus of the adapter. I did this for a year, because no stereos that I could find worked with the infamous CANBUS crap.

So, one day I saw a stereo that advertised it worked with the CANBUS, had touch screen, was android with wifi, and most inportantly had bluetooth. I ordered it that day, and have been happy ever since. It has been two years now, and though its been difficult to get things working just the way I want sometimes, I am still pleased.

I will warn you that this is a Chinese headunit, and customer support is hit and miss. But, I have not had to use them but once. There is a Chrysler logo when starting the radio, which I know damn well they didnt pay to use lol, and I have rwad that you cant update the navigation because its fraudulent and not supported by the nav company(think its garmin software, but not sure bcus I never have cared to use it)

Sooo, there are some flaws beings its chinese, but it works without issues the way I use it - by linking bluetooth and playing music from my phone with Amazon and Pandora, or with the local radio stations.

The stereo also retains all steering wheel controls, as well as the factory amp and entire system. My wk jeep csme with the boston accoustics system.

I have also installed a Rockford enclosed self powered subwoofer, and replaced some door speakers. All with no issues.
