HI all! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

So I went to the gym this morning all was well, got out started up my rig and it starts making this ticking/clicking noise when I put it in gear? As I drive a bit, it stops. When I come to a stop at a light, starts ticking/clicking again for about 10 seconds and stops. Start down the road, starts up again for about 10 seconds and stops. When I shift if from drive to neutral, drive to sport, drive to park, ticking/clicking for about 10 seconds and stops!!!!

Any help would be great! Thanks

What age is your Jeep? First thing is get it recovered. Do not drive it anywhere in 4low on a hard surface or you will cook the transfer case. Suspect the shift motor or transmission control module. Sometimes it can be both because the motor can take out the module. Sorry, that's not good news to hear.

You have a transfer case shift motor that as the name suggests controls the shifting in the transfer case. It is contolled by a transfer case control module (TCM for short). I think theTCM is located below a panel under the drivers seat floor. Anyway, you need to get to a dealer or another mechanic that knows Jeeps. As I said before, do not drive it on road in 4low or you will cause more damage. Get it recovered.

Do you think if I replace the TCM that might resolve the issue? It appears to be a relatively easy replacement...?

Could be but don't guess, get it diagnosed correctly. If the shift motor is bad it can take out theTCM, so if you replace the TCM and the motor is bad it could take out the new part. Not worth guessing to save a few bucks, get it looked at by a mechanic.
