Tips/tricks for replacing D1S bulbs on WK

Going to be replacing the D1S bulbs in my WK this weekend. Looks like I'm going to have to take out my battery and CAI box to get to the bulbs out. Does anyone have any tips/tricks that might help me out on the installation.

its such a effin pain. Might be easier to take the headlights out? Either way it sucks
