My '96 4Runner had a brush guard on it and it looked good. My '02 Trailblazer had a brush guard on it and it also looked good. Both of the front ends on those cars were nice, but the brush guard completed the look to them.

The front end of the WK2's look too good to cover up and looks very complete without it. But that is just how I feel about it. She's your baby, you make her YOURS and share your pictures of the finished product. It may help someone else make the same decision.

Also, I believe you lose functionally of the tow hooks with the brush guard. Dont qoute me on that though. I do know that's the case when installing bull bars.

Check out rocky road they have a front prerunner skid plate that looks real nice and does not effect the tow hooks. Also there brush bar /winch mount kit can be used even with ACC. These two items are on my wish list along with the rocky road roof rack and weather tech mats. Oh my bad also on my wish list is ... a 2014 overland V8 tech pack and ORA2

My current ride light khaki 2005 hemi limited, off road package & everything except DVD & Nav. Shes been to the beach a bunch of times never let me down.
