Hey guys ! I haven't been active on here in a while I've been busy with school and everything. This past weekend I decided I need good gas mileage and have to trade in my jeep. I found an altima that gets double my trucks gas mileage I'm currently around 13 mpg and the altima was 26 ish and was just about to sign the papers and backed out last second because I really can't see myself in anything but a jeep! So i guess im going to drive a jeep for the rest of my life and pretend i have good gas mileage by always comparing to the hummer lol. I love my truck I put a good amount of work into it to make it perfect for me but the only other vehicle I love besides mine is the wrangler. I know nothing about wranglers but I was wondering if you guys think I should trade my grand Cherokee wk 08 for a wrangler of some sort. I have 32" offloading tires I would transfer over to the wrangler.

I am on my iphone and don't really know how to use the app so I'm not sure if a picture of my truck was added into this but if not please visit my build thread for pictures!

Just wondering your suggestions as to if I should stay with my wk or trade in for a wrangler !

You wont get any better gas mileage on a wrangler unless you keep it bone stock. My wrangler had 33s 4 inch lift and alot of heavy metal all around, got 14 mpgs on a good day.

Just keep the WK, man. Two things are promised, gas and groceries will only get more expensive, so drive and eat what you want! I couldn't imagine anything other than my Jeep.

Even then, you still wont get better mpg. I went from a lifted wrangler (15mpg highway) to my lifted wk (18-19 mpg highway)

You could look for a 2007-2008 wk with the crd engine. I get 18 city and 28 highway. All your mods could be moved over.

Can I just say, ive been driving jeeps since I got my first YJ at 16. But I wanted more room so I traded for a Cherokee. Then I missed the top down feel and traded for a TJ. Then I wanted more cargo room and more power so I bought a WK.

Gas milage is an illusion, your V8 power is more fulfilling and you will miss it. My advice, keep the WK. Get the wrangler in addition if you want a toy.
