Hi

I recently get a small problem with the transmission , meaning that I was parked an putted the shifter to Drive but nothing happens .
I moved then to park again and putted to drive again I worked
I had the scan tool on the car An I get the code U103 and U404..lost communication with ...

I cleaned the shifter electronic circuit , and put back all in the car again it worked , but the shifter dust cover broke later .

Is there any replacement PN for the dust cover, and will the shifter module not fail again later on?

No replacement part# for the dust cover is available, as they can not be sourced separately.

Every once in a while, one comes up for sale - if you keep your eyes open, you may be able to snag one...but you'll have to be quick as they are in demand. These are usually from units that have been replaced, and the cover has been salvaged.

It may or may not happen again. It is more likely to happen without a dust cover, for obvious reasons (dust will be able to get in).
