Hello everyone,
I am new here. I posted about my problems with Uconnect and utilizing USB attachment with my phone and the via mobile app, but nobody responded. I am hoping I can get some insight this time.
For the second time, I took my jeep (2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland V6 4x4) in to a different dealer service because the first acted like it was rocket science with this vehicle and I told him what to do from this forum (sad considering I have no mechanical skills). For the first service, I had been having rough transmission shifts to the point of it feeling as if I pumped the brakes (horrible!). The first one didn't know what to do, so I told him to pull the fuse. He did that, and at first, I thought it was better. Until, I was in the mountains (around 9500-10000 feet) and coasting because of traffic. My transmission began fluctuating crazily from a higher to lower gear (and the RPMS were fluctuating up and down). Then the shifting up and down was extremely hard: feeling as if I was being rear ended (quite embarrassing too!). The next service dealer said there was nothing wrong and didn't notice any abnormal shifting! Please someone one here help me because Jeep doesn't want to take any responsibility (or have a bunch of monkey's running their diagnostics) for their crappy transmission problems.
Also, as I was driving home, I had the message "air suspension system cooling, please wait" flash two or three times. I wasn't using the suspension system at the time (did much earlier for maybe 10-20 minutes driving down a trail) and it was 65 degrees outside. The first time I took it in for that message, the service tech said they found a pinched line (I thought everything was fine until my mountain trip). The second service tech basically side stepped the issue. He asked if I drove the vehicle in the highest setting all the time (it threw some type of overheating error code), and after I said I didn't and reiterated that it was 65 degrees outside, he basically ignored me and went on (pathetic!). What does this mean? Is there anything special I need to have them do to find the leak? I have looked at other threads with this issue, but clearly the service tech isn't finding those issues (or isn't wanting to find them). I am really beginning to hate driving my vehicle (only 500 miles) because it constantly is throwing messages and jerking me (literally) around. I am beginning to think that Jeep builds lemons all over the place: problem is you have to convince the law that this is an inhibition in driving, which of course Jeep will say "no it's not, that's the way its suppose to happen" in order to shirk any responsibility! PLEASE HELP! THANKS!
