I got my '11 WK2 V8 4x4 serviced yesterday for 48k-mile servicing which was just oil change and tires rotated. My service guy said it was due for transmission service (fluid flushed and replaced w filter).

I was always under the impression tranny fluid doesn't need to be flushed and changed until 100k miles or so. Interested in other opinions... I declined but of course told him to check it out and if it needed it, do it, but they said it was ok. The manual only says change it at 64k IF being used as fleet/taxi vehicle. What have you all done?

That what it looks like but me on every car I've had I've just done drain and fill every 30,000. so instead of 12 quarts or how every many it take you'll only use like 5 or 6 quarts.

Also front diff rear diff and transfer case every 30k

I would follow what the manual says unless you have a good reason not to. The dealer wants your money, the automaker wants the Jeep to last.

+1. As stated in the other forum, ATF-4 can last 100k miles easy.

They tried that on me at 30,000. I turned on my tablet right there in the service dept. and showed the assistant service mgr. that it says to do it if used extensively for trailering, heavy off roading or police work. He back off immediately and I registered a complaint with the dealer, for it's worth.
