FWIW, you don't have to change your tune from 91 to 93 to see an increase in performance. Adding octane will help reduce knock and you'll see performance gains regardless of the tune. It may not be optimal but it's something.

I've tested with higher octane at the track recently. 5 gals 93 pump gas (Sunoco) + 5 gals VP 103 for 98 octane. My knock was gone. It didn't see a great improvement in performance since I would need to change fuel and spark settings. I'll leave that to AJ ;)

I'm with Peter. I ran 91 + Sunoco 104 last week at Bandi and my truck came alive. Johan said more octane will never hurt anything. But he did give me a tweaked track only toon with more timing to actually make use of it. I'm gonna run mostly 104 tomorrow and see what happens.
