As I understand from what WILLX has said, after receiving 25 notification text messages, the notification text messages will stop.

I posed the question because one day I noticed the app would remotely start my truck, but would no longer send me a text message to confirm.

I tried deleting the message chain, I deleted and redownloaded the app, I logged in online and deleted and re-entered contact information, I even logged a case with uconnect...NONE works.

So I replaced my cell phone with an email address and found that works, but I wanted to receive text messages. I have verizon, so I entered my phone number as an email address, [email protected] and it is now working.

I thought I'd share in case anyone else was having this issue and I didn't want to add to the 50+ page uconnect post.

update

uconnect support just called me back and said there was a "one time, user specific issue" that was resolved.

I just logged in online and switched back to my cellphone for notifications and it is now working. Unfortunately, no further details were provided, I'm just happy that it is fixed now.
