great, i have a 2016 cherokee limited with Map Database CMCN4VP4NA; V4, not sure what year that it, but I would like to get my North American maps updated for a long road trip coming up. What is the cost and how do we pay?

Cost is $150.00. They had a summer special for 50 off, it ended 8/31 you might be able to still get it, I don't know. I'm waiting for next year's update due to the exit number changes in MA. For an upgrade contact uconnect or HERE

V4 is 2012 maps. 2021 q4 is v15 if I remember right...
You can always get them from the official website. Usb is coded for your request-response code.
I do it differently; no request-response code; the official version is always behind in the version of maps.

Note, they will also hefty for shipping as well being from Canada. The cheapest they sell for is $99 and that is just before they release a new version (you get the old one). You also need to make sure your system software is up-to-date (I had to go to the dealer to get mine updated on our 2018 - but still on the fence about buying the maps).

Basically every summer they offer 50 off, and as others have said it's the current version just before they release the new version.

A., (or just the states you want), Canada, Mexico if wanted. The more you update, the more time it takes for the files to copy to your radio.
It also includes 3D package building, layout (where design available from creators of map HERE) safety camera database, and also if wanted the voice guidance package dated 2015 (latest).
