Is there a way to disable this? Sometimes my friends get a little carried away with texting and it's annoying when UConnect tells me I have a new text.

With my iPhone 4S, I could go into the UConnect Bluetooth connection and disable a setting, which would disable messaging but still allow the phone interface to work...so far I haven't been able to find anything equivalent. I'm borderline disconnecting my phone from UConnect because the text notifications annoy me, haha.

I can't answer your question, but I too switched to an S4 Active, and now I DON'T get the text notification or ability to respond.

I don't know if its something I did or if the Active isn't compatible with that function.

I have a 2011 Laredo with an RHB and uconnect.
