You can input the last 8 of your VIN here to see if there's an update available for yours - there's not one for my '14 RA4 nav.

I had posted this before in the other UConnect thread. It only checks for the minor updates. The on that is supposedly coming out, you would need to go to the dealership to have this done. 1 person so far went to it and supposedly it didn't help his issue.

I forget who did it but he did it on like Thursday night at the dealership... I guess he also called UConnect on that link as well and that is what they told him..

Honesty I would be surprised if you could download this stuff and apply yourself. Minor patches yes, major firmware upgrade like this I would probably even prefer my dealer to handle. If something goes wrong your UConnect might be brain dead.

My Overland is suppose to arrive here in couple of weeks, hopefully will have all the latest patches/upgrades installed and will not experience those problems.

Be nice to keep track of the version of Uconnect folks have on their 2014 - Mine is running 13.05.3

My fingers are crossed, hoping that any updates that 'fix' these UConnect problems get installed before upcoming deliveries this April.

In the same boat here ...

On a similar note I do have a friend who works for BMW (work on software for their counterpart of UConnect) and said that the amount of issues it does not surprises him. The only way to find some of those bugs is to just use the car and drive it. With the redesign doing that is difficult as you have to be careful not to be spotted and cars with camo are even worse as they are like bulls eye. You just cannot test it properly in the real world.

Nice thing about his job is that he gets a new BMW almost every weekend to test drive and log some data.

I think you have the wrong forum. This is Jeep Garage, not a lot of Town & Country owners here. :)
