Hi
Could anyone with QL please check if the Settings: Suspension menus allow enabling Tire jack and Alignment modes? My Laredo with ORA2 & QL has 1 menu item under Suspension, warnings. Manual says MUST disable QL for jacking and alignment. Dealer 'looking into it', despite just doing a wheel alignment!

UCONNECT 13.39.51 version dealer installed.

Getting a wheel alignment by a specialist Thursday so need to sort it.

Anyone know the alignment settings for MY 14 QL? Saw it in forum but can't find it again. Thanks

On the older systems I believe if you hold both Up and down buttons for sometime it will show on the dash QL disabled. should be the same on the MY14

To assist with changing a spare tire, the Quadra-Lift™ air suspension system has a feature which allows the automatic leveling to be disabled. Press and hold both the “Up” and “Down” buttons simultaneously between 5 and 10 seconds, a message will appear in the EVIC stating leveling has been disabled immediately after both buttons have been released. Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)” in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” for further information. Driving the vehicle over 5 mph (8 km/h) will return the air suspension to normal operation.

Thanks Josh didn't know the 2 button disabling. Not in my manual that I can find.

As for setting the QL for wheel alignment, I found an excellent pdf with settings etc thanks to the author. It mentions using Sports mode ie aero height for alignment. Is this the correct workaround for missing Suspension settings?

It would be interesting to know what the wheel alignment settings change from sports mode (setting for wheel alignment) to normal ride height, to park mode to OR1 and to OR2 suspension settings.

Does anybody know this? Real world figures would be ideal.

Thanks Josh but the simultaneous up/down button operation doesn't work on my MY14 to disable QL.

The simultaneous up/down button press works on our 2012 CRD with QL.
Strange that the new model would have a different software operation!
Are you sure it isn't disabling and you just didn't see the message?
It doesn't remain on the EVIC for long.

edit: just saw your posts on the front end alignment thread….looks like you are on the case and there may well be a different way of disabling for the 2014.
Good luck

Update for all those kind enough to post replies. Dealer ordered and fitted new radio head unit which included screen. Said it would take 6 weeks, got it in 3 weeks. Called on 30 Dec to fit on 31 Dec. Took 45 mins. Wow fixed everything, got all the lost menu items for Jack, alignment etc plus other stuff. Now very fast screen repose and I think camera is sharper. I can now set the delay!

To say I'm stoked is an understatement. Now car is absolutely perfect. Wrapt. Reaches for another vodka...
Happy 2014 everyone
