I had a vibration/buzz sound around 1500 RPM and the issue was the heat shield vibrating against eachother. The heat shield comes in several pieces so if you get below and slightly bend them so they don't touch it could solve your problem. It was a simple fix for me and saved a trip to the dealer. Not sure if this is your problem but it is worth a check...
