The wagoneer will be built at Warren mi assembly...now home to the ram truck. Ram truck is moving to sterling heights MI. But the wagoneer will only begin when the ram is in full production at sterling heights. Sterlings equipment will be moved to Belvedere IL to build the KL cherokee.

Does that mean it's going to be built on a truck frame like the Rams? Could we be getting something comparable to a suburban or expedition in size?

I'm happy about the jobs for Michigan and Ohio, but man I was really hoping for a Ram sized Suburban competitor. I absolutely love my Ram 1500, but it needs more seats.

I don't know if this is accurate or not, but I got it from a Car and Driver article this morning. The article also said that it will be on the Ram platform. Said that it will be similar to the Tahoe/Suburban where the Wagoneer will be the smaller model and the Grand Wagoneer will be larger. Again, no clue about the accuracy of this just sharing what I read.

They seem to be recycling fluff we heard 3 months ago. And the artist rendering has the wrong dimensions for a 3 row SUV. I hope one of the insiders throws us a bone here, and gives up something. I've been waiting for this car for the last 3 years and was never as excited about one, trakchawk included.......
