What did you do to your WK2 today?

What did you guys accomplish with your Jeeps this weekend? I was quite surprised that it was able to pull out the lilac bush (rather tree at this point.) if the strap would have been longer I would have actually jerked on it, I was afraid of it ending up in the back window though. I do have to question why it automatically starts in 2nd gear instead of 1st gear though, I just used the paddle shifters to get into 1st.

Washed, clay barred, and waxed Friday AM then straight into the garage for 2 1/2 days of ice cold rain and wind. 30+ inches of snow in the Adirondacks. To the cemetery Monday then to diner.

Installed front and middle skid plates...and the slush mats...then I washed it.

I also checked the ground connections in the engine bay, and checked the fuses (5 were on the loose side).

Purchased it off the lot. Granite Overland with Black interior, V6, not other options. Will take it to the mountains this weekend for some pics! The granite looks great on the road!

Nice! I have the exact same vehicle (plus advanced tech package). Enjoy it, I sure do love mine. I'm 2,500 miles in. :thumbsup:

Dodged some idiot that came into my lane while we both were making left turns at an intersection. She was in her new 525 and nearly ran me into the oncoming turn lane, which had cars waiting for their chance to turn. I'm glad I was paying attention cuz I'm pretty sure my entire passengers side would have to have been fixed. Nightmare avoided!!

Went to and opened our cabin. Had to come back down a couple of times. Drove about 300 miles all together. Installed the Uconnect update. What a great vehicle.

Took the Jeep on its first road trip from So Cal to Lake Havasu. Couldn't be happier. Pulled our boat about 100 miles from storage and back and forth to the water without any issues from the V6.

I hauled a bunch of fertilizer and other yard stuff from my moving neighbor's house to ours. Picked up a pressure washer. Threw my hitch mounted bike rack on and went for a ride.

Dodged a squirrel with a gas tank in the trunk and spilled some on the rubber mat. Luckily the squirrel survived and I only had to wash out the rubber mat.

Lots of fun stuff.

I got this one: Doubledown:Amazon:Sports & Outdoors

Super easy to use and so quick to put on and take off. I love how well it holds the bike and it's rock solid with hardly any sway either in the rack or bikes. Even bouncing off the road into the shoulder at my trail, the bike stays get stable.

That's it. We went over some rougher trails but the battery died. Too bad we didn't get that on video.
