Made an appointment with the dealer after my water pump decided to puke coolant all over my driveway. Feel lucky mine made it to 51,000 miles. Does anybody know if they have improved the water pump or still installing the old ones?
Did it dump it all at once stranding you or did you have warning? Might be good to have them check the 2 standard rear shocks (not the air suspention) while its in. The one on my summit went (belching fluid) at 37k from my reading they are another early failure item for many.Made an appointment with the dealer after my water pump decided to puke coolant all over my driveway. Not sure if they revised it but i would like to know also. Fortunately fca eats the cost on these early water pump failures so they have some incentive to correct it. I typically change all the items you mentioned above also around 100k or when water pump fails. I wouldnt be thtilled doing it that early but i agree while they are in there just get it done. Shocks, water pumps, bubling leather dash im new to the FCA experiance and not used to these type items failing on vehicles this young. No, Had the warning signs, smell of coolant, loosing coolant then the small puddles in the garage. I knew it was going. So now it sits in the dealers lot for a Monday appointment. Luckily The dealer is a mile away. I just put some coolant in it and drove it there. Didn't know about the rear shocks. Thanks I'll ask them to take a look. Do you know if the pump has been improved? I think I'm gonna have the serpentine belt, hoses and thermostat replaced while they have it apart.
Can't say I noticed that with the same colour temperature Philips I fitted to the girl's Beamer. I certainly wasn't looking for it in particular, as they were what I expected straight away. OEM tone.. But I read it takes about a 100 hours to "burn in" to get whiter/bluer...can anyone confirm this?
Welcome to the "FCA EXPERIENCE" its a roller coaster ride LOL. I just googled the water pump the newest part # I could find ends in an AD. It has been revised a couple of times hopefully for the better. Not sure if they revised it but i would like to know also. Why? 2014 wasn't the 75th year.
Neither is 2017, but Jeep is still putting them on. It really shows they don't mean anything. Why? 2014 wasn't the 75th year.
Because they don't make a "74 the Anniversay" badge.Why? 2014 wasn't the 75th year.

At least it's inexpensive, It's not like you putting an SRT front bumber on a larado 3.6!Pretending a newer model ?

My '15 says 1941 on it as well. Its just part of the styling it seems. At least it's inexpensive, It's not like you putting an SRT front bumber on a larado 3.6!
My '17 doesn't say anniversary anywhere but it does have the "1941" script in a few places like the headlights and steering wheel.
I think they started that with MY14.At least it's inexpensive, It's not like you putting an SRT front bumber on a larado 3.6!

The thread is about what you did to your Jeep, not what your Jeep did or didn't do.Well my cruise control quit on me today... it wont turn on at all.
Also on a side note my MPGs have gone down too, from average 21-22 to 19
