If you're thinking on another non Mopar engine swap its gonna be a long major project with a lot of research, a lot of adapters thats if they're even available and a lot of land mines in the way to cope with.
Best to rebuild and soup up your 2.4 maybe with a super charger or turbo if thats even possible which kind of doubt.
Or preferably go with an upgraded Mopar engine that came as an option for your year Jeep.
Then the necessary parts including the PCM should be readily available from Mopar or after market part companies
