Hey guys,

I haven't taken anything apart yet so I am wondering what low level lines come off the 8.4AN unit. I am assuming each channel has a low level to an amp, is that correct? Are they RCAs? Can I run directly to aftermarket amps without changing anything around or getting creative?

All channels are low level to the amp, number of channels depends on the trim level. The amp is in the driverside rear quarter of the vehicle. All audio lines are automotive type wiring harnesses, nothing is RCA so if you are retrofitting you would want to cut the harness far enough away from the connector to splice back in.

Personally this is a messy job, many other members have simply upgraded the speakers and been pleased. The most common amp is 11 channels and 506 Watts by Alpine.... which JGC are you talking here. Diagram of amp below (Alpine)
