This is kinda strange but twice now, on different rims, ive had the center cap either fall off or they have been stolen. I replaced the first one and putting it on I feel like they are in there plenty tight enough to keep them from just popping off. Has anyone else had this happen? Ive got the second one coming from just4jeeps.com so now ive got 50 bucks wrapped up in these caps. thinking about putting some megaloc on them just to be safe.

Have you had your wheels balanced? They knock them out to balance tires. I have had the tire guys break the clips that hold them on before.

No I haven't. I need to take it in for an oil change though so I might ask the service guys what they think

I've found that they're not real easy to get off. In fact, the easiest way is pushing from the inside. My guess is they were stolen. Look closely at the wheel and see if there are any scratch marks from prying them out.

They normally do require a good shot from behind to pop them off and then they like to fly across the floor.
