Oh boy...there's alway one of these guys on every forum....

Never said I so concerned about it....just asked if it would void warranty. Guess you don't know...
Lol. Yes I do know since I void the warranty on every vehicle I have ever owned and do more power rain modification than a CAI which I said is if you are that concerned with adding a CAI then you shouldn't be adding one.

Its just a simple question...does it void the warranty or not? Certain mods are ok by some manufactures others no. Never owned a Jeep before so I dont know how they stand. Like I said...I guess you dont know, because you still havent given an answer. But thanks for your concern regardless...

Back to the question...
Will adding a CAI void the warranty?

Lol......

Anything that you add or change that is not from the factory will void the warranty on such items, or any items they deem as failed due to your non factory items...

Do a search on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act. You do have rights. If you add a CAI for example, and problems develop with, say, your tailgate not closing, don't let them bs you and tell you it isn't covered. The failure has to be related to the modification in order for them to refuse coverage. You may have to fight., but them's the rules!

He's right though, If your concerned about it don't install it. One dealer may not have any issue with you doing it, then your out of town somewhere and have an issue and that dealer red flags your VIN in the computer and deny's any warrantee. Not that they are right but you are now stuck fighting it out on your dime.
