My Nozzels broke the other day. Bottom tube connectors basically deteriorated. pretty sure my toothbrush has higher grade plastic. But any ways, looks at getting the jeep replacement but they had to order it. Decided I would go to Auto zone and see if they had them. They had a pair OEM nozzels for 10 bucks. Figured it was worth a try. After installing them im not gonna lie. I think they are a better product than the Jeep parts. Very easy to install, no drilling or modifications are needed. Just pop off the old ones and put in the new ones. They spray pattern is able to be customized by moving the nozzle with a little tool that is supplied. Hope this helps! below is the part I bought.

Reviving an old thread here - but just wanted to thank all who posted on this topic and wta002 for the above post. My Jeep was stricken with the dreaded broken windshield nozzles and after a quick search of the Jeep Garage I purchased the replacements from Auto Zone & they work great.

Ok, Another problem with my WK2.
With only 8,000 miles on it, one of the wiper nozzle in the hood will not spray like before.
So I open the hood and check for anything wrong, guess what??? is broken from the bottom and spraying all over the motor.
I am getting tired of the poor quality of parts in this jeep.
There are cars out there that have 50 years and wiper nozzles still work. Why this Pieces of S___ is already broken.
Now I have to go back to the service area which suck here and spend one week with out a car just because of a broken wiper nozzle.
Yeezzz.
And I thought I was the only one. The same thing happened to me heading to work Friday evening, I thought no way could I be out of fluid and just like you the drivers side nozzle was broken at the hose connection. I took it to the closest dealer today and was out with the repair in under 30 minutes with no appointment under warranty.

My passenger side nozzle also broke in December. It was during a 920 mile drive in slushy conditions. No spray on the right side and very little on the left because the open right side hose was not allowing any pressure to the remaining nozzle. I pulled off to the berm of the Interstate and discovered the broken nozzle. Pulled out the broken piece and put the hose on what was left of the nozzle barb. It has been holding ever since.
If this is happening a lot, it should be a safety-related recall.

any of you guys had no spray over the winter when it was really cold? I have the washer fluid that isn't supposed to freeze - yet - had nothing - thought the nozzles were frozen. Now - when they spray they spray half the windshield. Something is up with these nozzles/hose. Bottom line - stuff like this should just work. I have a 2004 infiniti fx - the thing just works - still!

Ive got two GC in my house, an overland and a summit. This happened on both of them. No idea why jeep would use hard plastic lines and T connectors for that. The ones on my Summit snapped on both sides and my Overland snapped on the driver side. Very frustrating.

What do you call "...really cold"?

Mine has this same issue with the passenger side. When I got home from the dealer, I thought the fluid was low. Opened the hood to fill it and noticed the hose had become disconnected. Put it back and never thought much about it again until this weekend when it happened again. I looked and it looks like the piece on the hood is broken and the hose just barely slips over it. I tried to use a hose clamp but there isn't enough for it to grip. When I took the hose clamp off, it fell down beside the engine and is there somewhere. I put the suspension on full lift and crawled under it but couldn't feel it sitting anywhere. Hopefully nothing bad will come of it :(

This coupled with a piece of trim that is falling off the passenger door window warrants a trip to the dealer for some warranty work :(

When you find it, try a small zip tie instead of a clamp.

Thanks. I gave up looking for it :( I tried a zip tie and there isn't enough there. I used three - on around the hose, one through a hole in the hood, and then one connecting the two. It is a complete ******* fix but hopefully it will hold.

Had the same thought when I recently replaced both nozzles. But after maneuvering the hose around some or backing it off a little from each nozzle, that reduced the stress and gave some slack in the hose.
+1
Checked both nozzles tonight and found the RH one under load from the hose. As above, with a couple of minor adjustments to the hose and rubber elbows, I believe I may have averted a future problem.....
Great Thread!

Thanks. Is that the Max Care warranty? Was it below the deductible? Just trying to understand as I have been considering switching plans and all information is good to have.
