...we have part numbers, etc., for the HD-front-brakes parts, being...
68052372AA front caliper mount code BR6 Left,
68052372AA front caliper mount code BR6 Right, and
68035012AB front brakes, rotor Grand Cherokee w/Heavy Duty Brakes x2

These get our front rotors to 350mm (13.8"), BUT...

...do the SRTs use even-bigger rotors? If so, how large are they? Do they use the same calipers but with different mounting brackets?

I understand the need for larger-than-18" wheels if one is to use still-larger rotors.

WK2-brake experts, what say you?

The Front rotors are 380 mm

the rear rotors are 350 mm

So based on that sizing a 20" may be the minimum size the clear the front brakes.




Others have already done this mod but they have either used OEM SRT wheels or SRT replica wheels with the proper back spacing to clear the bracke rotors.

If you wanted to used the 380mm rotors it is best to use the Brembo calipers that go with them. Otherwise you would have to machine custom caliper adapters to use the existing calipers

The Overland 20" wheels will not clear SRT brakes.

SRT brakes are bolt on but you will have to upgrade your wheels and lose the use of your spare tire.

TYVM, addicted. Do you have or can you point me to Chrysler part numbers?

I have FIVE new 20" aftermarket wheels on the WK2...

Of course, I have no idea if they'll clear the SRT8 calipers.

And getting rid of the sparetire sounds like a great way to increase storage space for stuff, some of which I now carry in a bag in the back.

The only factory wheels that will work with the WK2 SRT 6 piston Brembo calipers and 380 mm rotors are WK1 SRT8 20"x9" front, 20"x10" wide rear wheels, or WK2 SRT 20"x10" wide Multi spoke (Spider Monkey) or 5-Spoke (Goliath) wheels. SRT recommends 20"x10" wheels for the WK2 SRT. Base WK2 20" wheels will not clear the caliper.

Lucky me--DiscountTireDirect's system indicates that my new 20X9" wheels...


...will fit a '13 SRT8.

Now I merely have to decide whether I want to spend the money.
