OK I'm in Florida so rain during the summer are frequent and serious.....I love them!
Jeep Trailhawk on the other hand, does not.

Today during a thunderstorm water was dripping through the passenger side 'reading light' on the rear seat.

Rain stopped, so did the drip, but obviously we have an issue. I do not have a garage to work in and tools are limited for now, so I am going to have to do my best, I am NOT looking to bring this to the dealer because of past experiences.

The fixed panel does not show anything significant from the exterior, the roof functions as it should, from all outward appearances everything is fine, but we do have a leak.

I would appreciate any guesses or thoughts related to this including:
  • how to remove the fixed panel so I can fix whatever is wrong
  • some estimates about time as again I do not have a garage to work in and its my only vehicle right now
  • leak could be elsewhere of course, just finding its way to the light hole in the headliner......so what to look for in the moving section or even around the roof rails....

I hope this makes sense
