Unfortunately, yes. I keep checking with my dealer on whether the eLSD is a required delete and the last that I checked (a week or so ago), it was still requiring it to be deleted. Hopefully, that changes soon, and I can either revise my order or create a new order.

I ordered my 23 GCL SR on July 19th and the eLSD was NOT deleted. I would check with your dealer.

NWA, thank you for letting me know. I'll reconfirm with my dealer; however, not only did I check with the dealer I ordered mine from but two other dealers that I was dealing with (and have since done so late last week). Did you get a build sheet from your dealer, after you placed your order, and it does not show a $400 credit?

I have not gotten anything but a VON number after placing my order. Is there something I can request from the dealer that might show something different?

Yes, your dealer should be able to provide you with a POC (Priced Order Confirmation) or a Configuration Review sheet. I have gotten both but had gotten the latter when comparing pricing from the various dealers I was talking with about my order. Both documents, showed the credit on it for the eLSD.

Hmm ok. I sent the dealer an email asking for other documents. Did they send you a “Confirmation Preview” (that’s what I had to review to make sure all the details of my order were correct before they placed it) and then when they placed your order they gave you a “Confirmation Review”?

on my “Confirmation Preview” there is nothing showing deleted, there are also no credits.

I sent all of the dealers a PDF, from Jeep's webpage, showing my build. In turn, all of the dealers sent me a "Configuration Review". The "Configuration Review" shows both the MSRP and the FWP (i.e. what they claim is the invoice amount). On the breakdown, it shows a credit value associated with the "Elec LTD Slip Differential Delete".

Ok yea that’s exactly what I did also. And on my “Configuration Preview” they sent me it does not show anything being deleted.

So a follow up to my last comment. I just called Koons because now I’m worried. He said if he try’s to order one right now it’s showing the line item to delete the eLSD. But on my POC that he’s looking at for my order that line item is not on there. He said maybe I just got lucky or it’s a glitch in the system. That being said if the vehicle shows up with it being deleted then I will not be buying it.

Sounds good - hope you get it. I'm still trying to get it added to mine; however, in the end, if I can't get it, it won't really affect me as I don't live in a very wintery climate. I just want it since I'm buying a SR and it should have everything.

That’s exactly why I told them I will not buy the car if it doesn’t have it when the vehicle shows up. I’m buying 73k dollar vehicle I want all the things it’s suppose to come with not a lousy 400 dollar credit.

I agree about the credit - it's a joke. Everyone knows that it would cost way more than $400 to install afterwards - if you could even install it afterwards (which I don't believe you can). You would think that they would be willing to put the parts on a vehicle if someone is willing to pony up the money for said vehicle.

I agree! I just talked with Jeep Chat and they told me from what they can see I am getting the eLSD. Not sure if they look at the same thing the dealer looks at or not but he said it’s coming with it. So no idea how I got it.

I also asked have they started production of the MY23 and they told me they have not and there is no ETA on that. I have heard both, yes it’s in production and no it’s not so I wanted to confirm and they said no it’s not in production yet.

I ordered my 2023 3 row Summit on July 14 and all I have is a VON. My Configuration Preview from Koons also does not have ELSD delete. When I had one done back in April on a 2022 2 row the Preview did have ELSD delete.

It sounds like there was a very short time that they were not deleting the ELSD. I ordered on July 19th and it’s not deleted. Reading other threads it sounds like it’s happened a few times. We’re it will have it and then it won’t again and then it will have it again.

Yes, my POC shows a full VIN number. I actually just got off the phone with my dealer, to again check on the eLSD and she said that it's still showing up in her system as an auto delete (i.e. she cant't change it to be not being deleted). I'm starting to wonder if Jeep is allowing the eLSD to be ordered based on your location allowing the eLSD to be ordered if you live in a certain state. Also, while talking with my dealer, I asked if she had an update on the status of my order and she said that her system is now showing an estimated ship date of 8/17/22. She said that this doesn't necessarily mean it will be shipped then but it at least sounds like the '23 MY are now in production.

That would be nice if they were in production. I just chatted with JEEP CHAT yesterday and they told me they are not in production yet and there is no ETA for them to start.

I placed my order on 7/19 currently I’m in D status it’s been that for awhile now. Today is the 2 month mark and still nothing showing on the online tracker. I called Koons today to see if I can talk to someone about what is going on as I’m seeing people that placed orders around my date or after my date getting there car or at least going into production or showing some kind of activity. When I call Koons all I ever get is a voicemail and when I leave a voicemail nobody ever returns my call. How is everyone’s experience with Koons? And am I still to early to be getting upset nothing is happening with my build?

I am in the same boat with Koons. Ordered July 14th, still not scheduled.

Have you tried to contact them other than sending an email to the status email they have? I e called them 3 times now and left a message all 3 times and I’ve never gotten a call back. I e had to call back and tell them I want a person and it took them forever to get someone. This was over the last 2 months asking about various things about the order.

Were you calling and messaging with the person authorized for the Group Buy program or calling the main number? If the latter, check the vendor section for the person running the program.

I willl try to find that number. I left a message and I also left my contact info with the receptionist yesterday and I never got a call back. I’m getting a really feeling customer service is going to be horrible once I get my vehicle. Seems like once you place the order they don’t care about you anymore.

What you will find is that anyone at the dealership who is not actually involved in the group buy may have no interest in your calls. There's a reason that it states in the group buy information to only talk with the authorized folks named in that information.

Hmm that’s interesting. I talked with an Adam when placing my order and that’s who they sent me to to leave a voicemail. So I’m talking with people that I talked with before I placed the order.

Do any of these dates really mean anything? Or do they only give people a false sense that they’re going to get there vehicle soon but you really aren’t. I order 7/19 I finally got “Scheduled” 9/30 with an estimated ship date of 10/17. Now looking thru this forum I see someone say they had a scheduled date of 8/18 and their vehicle was at the dealer 9/18. So I’m thinking ok I have about a month before I get my car. But then you look at others and they were scheduled 9/8 and finally on 10/6 show production. And then I see others showing estimated ship dates of 10/30 and they were scheduled back in August.

so from what I have gathered these dates really mean absolutely nothing. And that they really have no idea when you will actually get your car. I’m 10 days away from 3 months and I’m seeing people who have ordered after me already get their vehicles. Pretty terrible when you are buying a fully loaded top trim vehicle and people who buy the lesser models are getting them before you…

To some extent, higher-spec models are more likely to be subject to parts delays - simply because they have more parts.

I understand that but I have also been in D status since the middle of August. And D status is dealer has allocation and all parts are available. So if parts are available what’s the hold up? I can see if all parts were not available then ok. But idk. Just frustrating.

I just got my window sticker today. I’m getting excited to finally get my vehicle. im guessing it should ship out in the next few days and hopefully get it koons in a week or so. But looking at my window sticker under the Luxury Tech Group V it only says manual 2nd row Window shades. It does not say wireless charging pad. all of the other options that are listed have everything listed that is suppose to be listed per the website. Anyone else have that missing on the window sticker but they actually have it? I’m going to be really mad if i paid 275 for window shades lol looking at other window stickers of other SR with the luxury tech group V the wireless charging pad is listed. On my build sheet tho the wireless charging pad is listed. So kind of confusing. mine is a 23 GCL SR

I’m guessing mine will have the wireless charger. It’s a fully loaded SR. Has eLSD and all lol. So if they decided the wireless charger was the thing to not put in there, that’s really weird. But it’s on the build sheet so I’m sure it’s in the car. But if it’s not when I go pick it up. I won’t be picking it up.
