My dealer said even if the eLSD becomes available again, it will not be added by the factory since the build as received by factory is with the automatic eLSD delete.

it's likely out the door and moving into the transportation dance, which depending on geography can be one or more train routes followed by trucking the last few miles to the dealer.

I started asking Michigan dealers about ordering our vehicles since I spend so much time up there (1/3 of my life at this point). Every MI dealer indicated a much shorter order period vs. Koons and those nearer to South Carolina where we currently live. Is anyone waiting on an order from Michigan? Do they even load MI vehicles onto a train or are they just trucked straight from the factory? It'd be interesting to compare MI to deliveries to VA (Koon's).

The state totals can be a little deceiving as there are some dealers offering great deals on orders (4% under invoice, $11k off MSRP, $9k off MSRP)
Those states numbers are jacked up based on all the out of state buyers.

Just likes Koons for VA. They were the ONLY dealer I spoke with that was discounting. Just think of the profit they're still making, overall, with holdback. They told me they currently have 1,000 factory orders awaiting delivery. That is unreal!

I'm in Atlanta, GA area and wouldn't think the Dallas TX area would be much different but who knows? Anyway, congrats on your order - I hope it gets scheduled/in production soon.

I ordered two from Koons and both had the eLSD delete. I found two two-row Summits in SC before we concluded we wanted the additional space of the L and one had the eLSD and the other did not. Depends on build date!

I asked dealer for a status update. We ordered our two vehicles 8/9, they're in production, estimated ship date of 9/13/2022 going to Koons. I am really curious how many times that ship date may change, or when/if the vehicles will simply arrive at Koons without notice.

I'm thinking it's more of one's location that determines whether they can order eLSD.

I spoke with dealers in MI, TN, SC, VA, and GA. When they went to try to build my vehicles, they were mandated by the build system to delete the eLSD.

That's why I think it had to do with the fluctuating order banks. Who knows what time during the same day they updated the system as well in terms of orders on the same day.

No idea. I started inquiring in June and ordered August 9. From initial inquiries to actual order, which spanned roughly two months, the eLSD delete was mandatory by all dealers I asked. They said they literally could not override anything to prevent it.

When you go DI, there is always an Estimated Ship Date but you have to get it from your dealer since it is listed on the POC.
That is different than anything you see on the tracker.

Do not confuse Estimated Ship Date with Estimated Delivery

I asked Koons earlier this week what they saw as our status. Ordered August 9, status a few days ago was D1, estimated ship date of 9/13. Not counting on anything, but it does seem realistic that we will be taking delivery of both in October or November vs. 2023.

Two Summits ordered 8/9 from Koons. Current status is mine is built and pending shipping. My wife's is in production and running about 4 days behind mine, overall. Estimated delivery is early November for both.

I find the Group Buy contacts to be very responsive with Koons.

What dates did your cars get scheduled?

Ordered 8/9, both scheduled 8/31. My wife's has an earlier VON but for some reason fell behind mine by about four days, I am thinking it is because I ordered white/tupelo whereas she ordered velvet red/steel gray (right before they stopped offering it!). They're otherwise identical.

FYI, mine went into production 9/15 and my wife's went into production 9/19. Mine was built on 9/20 while my wife's still shows in production, but I kinda expect tomorrow or Monday for it to show Built.

Amazingly, my GCL was AT THE DEALER (in lil' old Maryville, MO) on 08/26, after being built on 08/20!!!

You must've hit shipping just right. I hope ours don't arrive until around their current estimated delivery dates of the first week or two of November. I'm a CPA and getting up to VA will be hard.

As of yesterday (9/25/22), my wife's WL was in "Status I - Final Inspection." Mine was in "Status KZLD - In Transit, Delayed."

I'm guessing KZLD means it is sitting in a lot waiting for a train or truck driver?

Mine now shows shipped with an estimated delivery date of October 10. My wife's still shows in production but an earlier delivery date of 11/1. I am going to be annoyed if we have to make two trips up to Koons. Hoping it works out, my wife's seems to still be four days later than mine.

Dealer updated status. My wife's remains in final inspection and it's been there for almost a week. Mine is in-transit with last location being New Castle PA, final destination being Koons in Vienna, VA. I really hope we do not end up having to make two trips. The tracking pushed back my delivery date a bit but it still shows October and my wife's still shows November 1.

Anyone else find out Jeep increased the MSRP by $1200 this week, at least for Summits? I thought prices were locked in once an order was placed as long as delivery is taken within 14 days of it being delivered to dealer. I already have the window sticker for mine which reflects the old MSRP, but my wife's has not yet been generated.

Got our window sticker yesterday for an Overland and it was still the same as when we ordered in June.

Price Protection all depends on the dealer and what the agreement was.
From everything I know, Koons does price protect so even if her MSRP goes up, you will not pay the increase.

I'm waiting to hear back from them about it. I presented my window sticker vs. the signed buyer's order for my vehicle. I don't have my wife's but I stated I thought price protection had been established. Won't be good for group buys if they renege on it...

Seems the tracker has become "stuck" in the past week+. My wife's has been in "inspection" status per the dealer for two weeks. Mine was last in PA, so I expect it to arrive at Koons no later than mid-month which makes it look even more likely that this will end up being two separate trips to pick up the vehicles. Ugh!
