Wow that is crazy. Their must be a part that they are waiting for or the dealer has you on the back of the list for a build and is restricted.
My status durations have bene as follows:

Order Confirmed: 6/28/22
Scheduled: 7/29/22
In Production: 8/22/22
Vehicle Built: 9/2/22
Shipped: 9/14/22
Est. Delivery: 10/10/22

Historically, Jeep dealers have had monthly allocations by trim for the JGC during the "WK2" era. Not sure if that's still the case with the WL or not. And those allocations did apply to customer orders as well as dealer orders. (JGCs are not forced out to dealers like some brands do -- every one made is for an actual order, at least again, historically through the "WK2" run)

Be careful with the data for us that ordered in May and June (even July). There is time in there that is essentially a pre-order. That is, days passing before Jeep was even able to make the 2023’s. So the order to production time is artificially high due to that.

Also since you are collecting data, they never told me when mine shipped but it was delivered September 2nd.

Do we know approximately when they started building 2023's?

Just thought I would share in case others are tracking the status of their build that the Jeep webpage is now showing that my GCLSR build has been scheduled for assembly. Unfortunately, no delivery date is provided but it's nice to see some movement after just being on order for over a month.
That’s awesome, I ordered a Summit Reserve on June 22 and the status is still waiting to be scheduled, there is obviously something in my confit that they are having a hard time getting. 😕

As with all data the devil is in the details and getting more of it means we have a better sample size.

ordered-to-scheduled and scheduled-to-production are probably highly correlated to what you ordered (availability) and the dealer (backlog). That means both of these entries are likely not a great predictor.

production to built and built to shipped is probably going to be fairly uninform with some variance depending on what day of the week and if any holidays are between start/finish.

shipped to delivered is going to likely be location dependent but I wouldn't expect it to be very long in general.

Here is the current data. It would be awesome to get about 20 more samples though.

9/3/22 Ordered 2023 GC SR
9/4/2022 Confirmed order per tracker
9/14/22 VIN was issued per Dealer & said status is: D: Firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available. As of 9/22/2022 still at D status per dealer.

I have never ordered a vehicle before, it is so nerve racking, especially since I am impatient! 😏

FYI, mine went into production 9/15 and my wife's went into production 9/19. Mine was built on 9/20 while my wife's still shows in production, but I kinda expect tomorrow or Monday for it to show Built.

Can you log in here to get a screenshot of your current status. I'm not sure how to interpret your dates vs the ones provided by the online tracker.

Luitjens - nice spreadsheet and interesting data. In addition to Matt_H, I believe DrBassman has received his JGCL, too. Also, I believe my "production to built" timeframe was a week and a half due to me ordering a factory-installed accessory (i.e. running boards) which actually go to an outside vendor; otherwise, I believe it would have been similiar to DrBassman's duration. The last thing to remember is that I don't believe Jeep updates the tracker regularly and it seems to be something that is done when they remember or they are slow at the factory (case in point, Matt_H's comment about it being delivered and never having seen it being listed as "shipped").

You must've hit shipping just right. I hope ours don't arrive until around their current estimated delivery dates of the first week or two of November. I'm a CPA and getting up to VA will be hard.

As of yesterday (9/25/22), my wife's WL was in "Status I - Final Inspection." Mine was in "Status KZLD - In Transit, Delayed."

I'm guessing KZLD means it is sitting in a lot waiting for a train or truck driver?

I ordered an L summit on July 14. Still not scheduled - not even a VIN on tracker. Last Friday I emailed Koons and changed up to an L Summit Reserve and the tracker already has a VIN. Just waiting for it to be scheduled.
