WL Jeep GCLSR Order is Now Scheduled for Assembly

Just thought I would share in case others are tracking the status of their build that the Jeep webpage is now showing that my GCLSR build has been scheduled for assembly. Unfortunately, no delivery date is provided but it's nice to see some movement after just being on order for over a month.

Just hope that doesn't mean they found an issue in final inspection.

That was my first thought. I'm going to give them the benefit of doubt and believe it is because my wife's order is not a "standard" color combo like mine is, and thus took longer since "in production" and "built" are two very different things and "in production" has many different steps. It now shows built status with yesterday's date.

I don't like that my wife's vehicle entered production status on a Monday (mine was a Thursday), but don't these factories work every single day?
Just got word from my dealer that my GCLSR has been delivered to the dealership. Worst case, I should be able to get it by Thursday as they may not be able to get it through PDI today and my salesperson is off tomorrow.

As with all data the devil is in the details and getting more of it means we have a better sample size.

ordered-to-scheduled and scheduled-to-production are probably highly correlated to what you ordered (availability) and the dealer (backlog). That means both of these entries are likely not a great predictor.

production to built and built to shipped is probably going to be fairly uninform with some variance depending on what day of the week and if any holidays are between start/finish.

shipped to delivered is going to likely be location dependent but I wouldn't expect it to be very long in general.

Here is the current data. It would be awesome to get about 20 more samples though.

I ordered a GCSR, (NOT L) on 7-22.
Shows Scheduled on 9-6
Nothing since. Sitting in D1 Status since then.
I have heard MOPAR parts may be delaying things. I have the mopar steps and the MOPAR finish package on my order and I am hearing that stuff is holding up the builds.

Thanks

What does your delivery date now show? Mine just bumped back ten days to 10/24. My wife's remains at 11/1.

10/18
Dealer says it 10/6 for shipping but still showing Scheduled 9/6 on Jeep tracker
My wife's window sticker just became available and reflects the higher base price. Waiting on Koon's to confirm that we have locked in pricing from our order date of August 9. I'm going to be pissed if it was not somehow locked in!

vs. mine, where ONLY difference should be added fee for my wife's paint color:

My delivery date was originally 10/8 but then got pushed to the 9th and then to the 19th (which it still says) but got delivered to the dealer yesterday (10/4) so if I had to guess, I bet yours will get delivered close to your original date.
I'm still sitting at scheduled for assembly. Been 3 weeks so far. I made a mistake and generated my tread lightly code. I hope it doesn't expire prior to delivery.

Our new Overland 4x4 has been scheduled. Hopping to get it by Christmas. Anyone have any recent builds that are going through currently or have recently been shipped they can share? I'd like to use that data to estimate the timeline to delivery.

What package did you get?
My husband did all the ordering but on the window sticker I see “customer preferred package” and “black appearance package”. As long as it was third row seats and a panoramic sunroof I was fine.

we have the same package with midnight sky exterior and beige interior

Great news for you TJC, happy to hear it! Mine still in "scheduled" status, est ship date of 10/19. I spoke to customer service, they told me that once your tracker shows an estimated delivery date, the date provided is the last day of a two week window they are projecting delivery within, so actual arrival is often prior to the day listed on the tracker. Seems to line up with your experience. Hope you're enjoying your new ride!

Thanks, TxCat91 - I am enjoying it very much! It rides very well and is very quiet. It's funny, for how much I studied about the vehicle's different features, I found that once I got it, I was a little lost as there are so many features. Now that I have had a chance to play around with it a little more, I'm starting to become more comfortable. Again, it's a very comfortable ride and I'm glad I went with the model that I ordered. I'm sure you will think the same about yours.

Do any of these dates really mean anything? Or do they only give people a false sense that they’re going to get there vehicle soon but you really aren’t. I order 7/19 I finally got “Scheduled” 9/30 with an estimated ship date of 10/17. Now looking thru this forum I see someone say they had a scheduled date of 8/18 and their vehicle was at the dealer 9/18. So I’m thinking ok I have about a month before I get my car. But then you look at others and they were scheduled 9/8 and finally on 10/6 show production. And then I see others showing estimated ship dates of 10/30 and they were scheduled back in August.

so from what I have gathered these dates really mean absolutely nothing. And that they really have no idea when you will actually get your car. I’m 10 days away from 3 months and I’m seeing people who have ordered after me already get their vehicles. Pretty terrible when you are buying a fully loaded top trim vehicle and people who buy the lesser models are getting them before you…
