Just thought I would share in case others are tracking the status of their build that the Jeep webpage is now showing that my GCLSR build has been scheduled for assembly. Unfortunately, no delivery date is provided but it's nice to see some movement after just being on order for over a month.

The state totals can be a little deceiving as there are some dealers offering great deals on orders (4% under invoice, $11k off MSRP, $9k off MSRP)
Those states numbers are jacked up based on all the out of state buyers.

Just likes Koons for VA. They were the ONLY dealer I spoke with that was discounting. Just think of the profit they're still making, overall, with holdback. They told me they currently have 1,000 factory orders awaiting delivery. That is unreal!

Yeah, we like our MOPARs here. The one that surprised me was how much lower Oklahoma is, but honestly, I think they are a Chevy Truck state, something like that, or Ford maybe. Ford did make a OK special edition F150 I believe. They park pickups like cowboys used to tie up their horses down there. Just throw it in park and get out, wherever.
Do they even load MI vehicles onto a train or are they just trucked straight from the factory?
I'm sure that vehicles being delivered within a certain radius of the factory(s) in Detroit will gravel exclusively on trucks.

And yes, I'm also sure that dealers that are closer to the source or are at least adjacent to "direct" rail lines will have shorter order time frames than dealers more far flung that require train cars to be moved, dropped, added to a different train, etc., (rinse, repeat) before they get to the final rail destination that serves those dealers with "last mile" truck service.
what I learned on the 'last mile' with my '14 is that the trains get it to the destination rail yard but then the truck carriers optimize their trips.. so depending on the traffic to dealers around yours, your rig may sit in the destination rail yard for a while.

I talked my dealer into putting a "hot ticket" on my '14 GC to get it on a truck, probably a week faster than it otherwise would have moved from Selkirk NY to Greenfield MA, not exactly a high-traffic route.

That's a really good point, Tom. There indeed can be "route optimization" for the truck deliveries as part of the "transportation package" for both efficiency/economy and also because of unloading order.

Did you make it into production this week? I'm still waiting to be scheduled, we ordered on the same day and our specs are almost identical...hopefully mine gets rolling soon!

No, it's still showing "scheduled" but nothing more; however, based on what Jim-in_PA has mentioned in this thread (or another thread), I don't really anticipate seeing anything more until it has been fabricated and is ready to ship. If the projected ship date is 8/17, I'm hoping that I'll see something on Monday or Tuesday. Is your Avatar the GCLSR that you have ordered? Also, curious what state are you in?

Yep, my avatar is a pic of the SR I ordered. I'm in the Dallas TX area, ordered from Frisco CDJR...which seems to be a fairly high-volume dealer. I did add the rear seat entertainment system, so hoping that isn't the holdup on my progress...

Cool - yours GCLSR looks very similar to the one I ordered. Thanks for sharing your location, I was asking because I am curious if the eLSD availability is based on one's location. I'm in Atlanta, GA area and wouldn't think the Dallas TX area would be much different but who knows? Anyway, congrats on your order - I hope it gets scheduled/in production soon.

I've updated my avatar with image of the GC-L Hemi Overland that I have ordered. I must be the only one here waiting for Hydro Blue? Mine was originally scheduled for 08/08 build -- delayed until 08/18. We'll see if it slips again. I'm in a small town, Maryville, in rural NW Missouri. I ordered mine @ the Tri-State CDJR here (same place I ordered my 2020 Gladiator Sport).

Hopefully all of our orders are built & on the way to us soon...

I ordered two from Koons and both had the eLSD delete. I found two two-row Summits in SC before we concluded we wanted the additional space of the L and one had the eLSD and the other did not. Depends on build date!
Today I found out, from my dealer, that my ship date has now slipped from tomorrow (Wednesday, 8/17) to Monday (8/22). Not a big deal if true but not confident it won't slip again; however, the Jeep tracker page is now showing my VIN number so maybe it is fairly close to being fabricated (or is fabricated) - who knows?. Also, my dealer informed me that she is still seeing the eLSD as a required delete. It looks like I'm going not going to be getting eLSD on my L.

The VIN on my order also appeared on the 'Vehicle Order Tracking' website today (8/16). :) Last time I checked, my ship date is 08/18...wondering if my ship date has slipped again as well? Not...going...to...bother...the...dealer...again...until...next...week... :)
My VIN appeared today as well. Still estimated delivery of September 18. I haven’t bothered the dealer through any of this. We will just see what happens.
Appreciate this! Was asking for this from the dealer, and glad to now know. Unfortunately I’ll be waiting 37/39 days after WS.
My Vehicle Order Tracking status went from "Scheduled" to "In Production" today (8/18). Also Estimated Delivery now says "SEP-25-2022" instead of "TBD". Still no Build Sheet nor Window Sticker. Progress!
The tracker updated mine to "In Production" on 8/10, with the "In Production" date of 8/9. It's been 10 days with no further movement nor a window sticker (the build sheet does come up). I find it odd that it would still actually be in production 10 days later, so I'm figuring the tracker is just lagging whatever is going on. Estimated Delivery remains at 9/18.
LIkely just lag in the tracking system. As has been noted, the vehicle is built in one day...it goes down the line pretty much without stopping and gets spit out at the other end...along with many hundreds of others. :)
