Has anyone wrapped their D pilar black to match the roof? (not my GC) Thoughts?

First of all…
I don’t like the satin flat black look against the gloss.
Also the bottom line is very difficult to make look right..
I think it just doesn’t work..
the bottom cutoff line looks like it’s on angle, gives it a pronounced wedge shape…for me it’s a no.
now blacking out the chrome or silver roofline trim..That I like..
But I’m afraid that large section of vinyl on the D pillar looks obviously added and sticks out like a sore thumb.
