Part II in my "interior fit/finish disappointment" Trilogy.

Disclaimer: I'm a bit OCD...

I spotted a gap between the wood and the plastic piece that goes around the steering column on my newly purchased 2013. Pic is below.

I found an older post on this forum about a similar issue, but with no real conclusion or resolution.

I'm going to take it into a local dealership (though not the one I bought from - that one is quite far away unfortunately), but I'm looking for some info from the expert community to arm myself with in case I get any sort of "no sorry - can't fix that - it's just normal - not a warranty thing" reaction.

Any input is much appreciated!

That piece of rubbery plastic around the column shifts over .
Just push it over and the gap gets tight.
I had similar issue on my 2011.
