It won't void the warranty. The Sprint Booster really makes the 3.6 feel like its lost about 500lbs or more. I can't wait for the AFE intake to come so I can see how it feels then. Until RIPP releases their supercharger for 2016-18 3.6 JGC this will have to do.

Yeah I don't know how I chose that setting, tried "race" or red first which did NOT seem ridiculously sensitive, then went to 9 on sport and figured I would try that for awhile. Drove about 25 miles home from my friend's shop and decided to leave it like this for now. Have not tried the Jeep "sport" mode on top of it, wondering what that will be like? Real happy with the upshifts and "no lag" anymore. Dave

Steve: So heated garage & my friend is half my age, he did it, I watched. Instructions are straightforward, my 2014 you start my leaving the drivers door open for at least 10 minutes, then install in the order they say. The short harness that goes on/behind the gas pedal took him maybe 30 seconds, and you cannot see it when done. It is tucked behind the carpet or something. The "controller" is very small. small wire and plug also. I did what somebody else mentioned, my Jeep has a small storage box in front of the shifter and under the radio/nav unit, with a closeable door. Open the door part way and you can put your fingers thru the top (towards the heat controls) So he pushed the plug end of the controller wire up there, could not get his other hand in the console end towards the gas pedal far enough, so instead of using some sort of "fish wire" (if metal would be a disaster maybe) he popped the lower side panel of the forward console off (piece against the "floor hump" and then easily grab the wire and plug it into the harness at the gas pedal. Then I guess he tucked everything behind th carpet against the firewall. The controller is VERY small so rather than fasten it with the double backed tape, I elected to leave it "loose" in the mini glove box, plenty of wire so you can pull it out and "read" the numbers or cycle it, then just tuck it back in the box, close the door if you wish. I have a thumb drive in there for music, and I usually lay my cell phone in there also, that is it so it works great for me. Does your Jeep have the mini glove box? No exposed wires or controller, works for me!! Dave

I routed mine up under dash and under steering wheel. The unit is to the right of steering wheel, very discreet and clean

I ordered one earlier this week and it should be arriving today. One thing that I always just "lived with" in my '14 Durango V6 is the throttle response. Highway passing and or "accelerating from a rolling stop" is primarily the response I'm looking to improve. After driving my wife's '19 summit (that includes sport mode) I want to breathe a little more life into my rig.

It shohuld be arriving today so I'll report back soon with my impressions....which I expect to be much like everyone else's....that it does what it is designed to do.
