My rear differential started making a whining/humming noise only when doing 70+ mph. It only hummed when I was on the gas and would stop when I came off accelerator. It's now really bad. Starts at low speeds and whines only when accelerating or on the gas.
205,000 miles. Is this as easy as a bearing replacement or entire rear diff?
