Recently I have been encountering issues with my "stop/start" function on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. When vehicle comes to a stop and goes idle/off (due to stop/start), I release my foot from the break to turn the engine back on, the vehicle will shut off completely, turn back on, will not move forward until I shift into "Park" then back into "Drive" and an "A" in a circle with an exclamation mark (stop/start symbol) will pop up on the dashboard. When I later turn off the vehicle and turn it back on, the symbol on the dash will go away. Occasionally I will get a slow start when turning on my vehicle. Vehicle has 41k miles on it. Battery charge on dash shows 13V when vehicle is on.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, any resolution?
I am getting the vehicle looked at, but not for a couple weeks for financial reasons. Any suggestions or forewarnings would be greatly appreciated.
