No six cylinder is a definite deal breaker for me. They could put four turbos, but want at minimum a six….Hurricane six is shall we say having issues. I think they finally got enough bugs worked out to try it on the 2026 Dodge Charger. If they bring back HEMI and it isn’t a $3500 option like last generation, then possibly…aside from that, keeping my 24JGW, or switch back to Durango R/T.
Tje destruction of CDJR and Stellantis was mainly the criminal CEO Tavares, and his minions, who were Yes men, even when they should have been NO. Fired soiled, experienced and proven engineering teams, so that crooked could get his bonus….
Tim Kiniskus is back and is over ALL N.A. brands as in CDJ&R. New CEO just started in mid June , and they both have a lot of work to do with rebuilding the confidence, trust and support of Americans, both employees, management and customers. A recent media event focused mainly on Dodge comeback, but I suspect Jeep will play into the rebranding soon. With all the vehicle emissions rolled back permanently, the shady deals that Tavares, made especially with California are about to go bye bye.
Plan is to HEMI and Hellcat as much as possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to shoehorn a HEMI in the Dodge Hornet if you get the idea.
Perfect example. 2026 Dodge Durango planned to be ALL HEMI including the entry level GT. That’s a $43K HEMI three row SUV with decent equipment load out. Shows a start and there also be NO California emissions….any states wanting to challenge it, stand in line for the lawsuits…..which will be lost. Try to hang in there.
Electrical gremlins might still be around, but getting a start on performance and rebuilding trust and confidence.
