My 2011 overland is doing something weird that sounds costly and its diving me crazy.
When you first put it in 4wd (5-8km --Neutral and apply on 4WD) it works fine but it feels like it is hard to accelerate. But when you switch it to 2wd low ( the car jerks forward and brakes down drastically to a stop as if you were downshifting a manual car or applying the brakes. and while it is changing i can hear loud clunks and gears from inside the car.
Traction light remains on with the 2WD LOW
When i scan it there's no codes and the mechanics keep telling me everything is fine with the car but i know that's a lie
I drive it full time on 4WD and it feels like its gonna die when going up a hill and when reversing and turning the wheel right i can hear a dragging sound or as if the gears are catching or slipping
The car drives fine but it feel like its not working as it should. even when revving it, it feels like your feet is still on the gas even after removing it.
The RPM is way to high for the speed the the car is driving.
SOME HEP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE
