On my jeep the ACC kicks out at 15 miles per hour and I have to do the stop manually and take back off. Are you saying that your jeep will come to a complete stop. Then when traffic starts moving it takes off again.
Yes, it will come to a complete stop then take back off again. I had the cruise set at 75 on the highway it started slowing and then stopped.
I have never tried it around town and honestly I was nervous on the highway and had my foot right near the brake incase it didn't work.

Am I the only one who has a jeep that ACC quits working when it goes below 15 miles per hour?

No, you're not. Mine doesn't either. And the owner's manual also confirms that this is not how it's supposed to operate (shutting off below 15 mph). I'm not really sure why JoeD's Jeep will do this. Joe...you're in Massachusetts? And it's a U.S.-spec vehicle?

Hmm that a new discovery.. You sure it comes to a complete stop without human intervention?

It came to a complete stop. I am in MA and it's a 2013. I had my foot ready to stop it though but didn't have to touch it.
I will do it again to make sure it's not a fluke but don't see how it would do it one day and not again

Maybe it's a fluke, because 2013 models defiantly don't have stop 'n go feature, only on 2014 model.. Or your jeep may be a one off:)

I can't see it slowing you down to 16mph from highway speeds then letting off the brake at 16mph, that sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

This is how they currently work. The new ones were supposed to be full range. Maybe your 2013 was a test bed.

In the US they are way behind. They want the driver to still maintain control, rather than the computers. Need to remove human error to decrease accidents (unless of course there is an EM pulse, in which case, we are all screwed)

I see those Google self-driving cars on the road almost every day. I saw them long before they were officially announced and kept wondering what the heck they were.

I am surprised that NOBODY can answer this question.
Does the current '14 have the ACC with Stop/Go ability ?
Surely someone with a summit can answer this simple question.

The 2014 will slow you down and once you get down to 15 miles per hour the ACC quits working and you are given a message to tell you this. Then it is up to you to manually stop the vehicle. If you do not apply the brakes yourself, you will hit the vehicle in front of you. If you are following traffic and do not go 15 miles per hour or slower, it will continue to follow the vehicle in front of you.

Imho this is not stop/go, but you can call it what you want.

So crazy that the Europeans get all the real car Tech before North America
The day we get Uconnect in Europe, I may agree with you. Until then, enjoy the downloadable apps, remote start, anti-theft GPS location, etc... ;-)

I think I already did, back a page or two. Not, it does not. At least here in the U.S. (I just looked at your location, not realizing you are in Australia. Sorry.)

It was answered plenty of times. NO - it does not - and not just Summits have this feature, Overlands and Limiteds (when properly equipped).

So it is the same as the '11-'13 ACC that I have.
There is meant to be a revised one in the '14 that WILL STOP the car and then go once the traffic starts moving.

Yes this is true. It is what I had initially read as well. It was called enhanced this year so not sure what the enhancement was?

I remember in the features and changes thread it was announced that FULL STOP and GO had been delayed to the 2015 model year which is now just 13.5 months away. (4.5 months down in an 18 month run of the MY14)... Proud of my math skills :)
