I don't know anything about OBD Genie or the universal bypass cable. The cable looks like the two small connectors serve as the bypass and the OBD port dangles? I have the ZAutomotive that I bought a few years ago. It's not installed now as I haven't needed to make any new changes, but it worked to enable both AppCar DiagFCA and AlfaOBD when I did have it installed.

I just had to reinstall my SGW bypass to remove a code/CEL that local shop couldn't (after diagnosis). I also found that if you attempt to update software and it fails, it leaves you a code as well...I cleared it too. Out of curiosity, has anyone taken their car to a Jeep dealer with the SGW still installed...any issues? Does it need to be taken out for dealer service or OBD reading? I'd rather not have to take it out again if I don't have to.
