AlfaOBD with OBDLink and Bypassing Security

It doesnt hook up to the OBD port on the drivers side, hooks up under the dash on the passenger side

I don't know anything about OBD Genie or the universal bypass cable. The cable looks like the two small connectors serve as the bypass and the OBD port dangles? I have the ZAutomotive that I bought a few years ago. It's not installed now as I haven't needed to make any new changes, but it worked to enable both AppCar DiagFCA and AlfaOBD when I did have it installed.

The smaller 2 connections on the red cable plug into the harness under the passenger side dash, the OBDlink MX plugs into the large end of the red cable. You connect your phone to OBDlink MX via bluetooth, once everything is connected open the AlfaOBD app and you should be able to make changes.

Thank you for the clear response; this is exactly the information I was struggling with.
