I use a Yakima hitch mount rack. It's easy to put it on and the bikes are easy to mount. The rack us sturdy. I will fold down when mounted so you can open the rear door. The arms fold down when not in use. Some people leave their racks mounted all the time, but I am security conscious and I don't leave it mounted, when I not transporting a bike to avoid theft of the rack. I have a rack that can hold 4 bikes. I'd rather do that that take the seat post and front wheel off.
