Is it possible to fit a bike upright inside the back of the GC on one of those fork mounts?
Thanks for posting this. Sorry I can't tell from the pic, but how is the bike secured? Here's an old picture of my setup for a long road trip. The tire went through the center console to open up the most room.

Thanks much for the info. The 1UP looks really good. I currently have a yakima for the hitch that holds 4 bikes, but is a pain. So if I'm by myself would be interested in the inside mount. The bike in the picture is attached to a Saris Triple Track. Amazon link below. I bought the combo rack, fork mount and wheel mount. I only use this setup for long trips where I might go through bad weather. My rack of choice is from 1UP USA. It's built like a tank and the bike is on/off in seconds. Sorry for the links, I forgot how to embed them behind the caption text.

I'm with you. You would laugh if you saw the towels, cushions I keep in the back of my Jeep in the event I have to transport something that might scratch something back there. I also don't like the noise of things rattling around so I always keep things that will reduce things touching is other and making noise. This all started with my 2011 GC when my kid put something thru one of the speaker grills.I hear ya! I just would hate to mess up the inside of my Jeep. Knowing me...I would mess up the inside of my Jeep.![]()
