I too had this creaking suddenly appear a few days later after a pretty bad rainstorm. It was coming from the passenger side foot-well. The noise mainly happened at low speed and whenever I touched the brakes, or turned in the driveway. My vehicle is a 2012 GC Ltd with about 73K on the ODO.

After removing the RF rear cradle cross-member bolt and stiffener brace, I noticed rust on a couple of the small bolts, especially the one towards the rear of the cross-member bolt.

I cleaned all of those up and hit the rust with some rust converter primer.

Re-assembled everything and torqued the cross-member bolt to 130 ft-lbs and the 4 bracket bolts to 15 ft-lbs.

All is quiet.
i too get this sound but ONLY after driving in extended rain or after car washes.

there was another post in this thread that mentioned water coming out of bushings..thats what i think mine is - seems due to moisture on front suspension components for me

i replaced my driver side wheel bearing and mine is now quiet as a mouse..even after driving in extended periods of rain. that wheel bearing solved all of my noise issues lol!
