Hello everyone. I bought a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland back in June. For the past 4000 or so miles it has been great but about 2 weeks ago I noticed this creaking sound coming from the passenger side front wheel area. Jeep was dropped off at the dealer last Thursday. They said they had to take parts off to see what the issue is. Now we are at Monday and they still have no idea what the issue is. They said they called Jeep engineering to see if they could help. The noise I am hearing is very similar to when you step on an uneven hardwood floor and it creaks.
I was initially able to replicate it on the Jeep when weight shifted, such as coming to a stop. But by the time I took it in to the dealer a week later, I could hear it with normal driving conditions.
Have any of you ever come across anything like this?
I have attached a video, well audio I recorded of the noise. It can best be heard between the 10 -20 second time frame.
