Prestone is garbage, they been sued over their claims of "Universal Coolant, All Makes and Models, mixes with any color anti-freeze. Its Dexcool, they are hocking as an Universal Antifreeze. The judge found they had can not substantiate their claim.
I thought it was 2014 that Chrysler switched to OAT Coolant in the WK2? Its is really looking like Chrysler and Ford OAT is just Dexcool, so if Chrysler OAT is recommended for your WK2, Prestone, since its Dexcool, would probably be fine.
There are drain plugs in the block to drain the trapped coolant in the block, you can also disconnect a heater hose and use compressed air or a hose to force the trapped coolant out of it, the same for the overflow jugged (wrap a towel around the nozzle to seal off the gap in the opening and cap off the vent with a finger). This will flush the system much faster. But, often finding and getting those block drains out can be difficult, I was unable to get the drain plugs out of my block and elected to doing multiple flushes to dilute the trapped coolant out. I did speed that up with disconnecting heater hose and blowing out the heater core with compressed air.
