I think everyone has said that the seats aren't any different in any of the models, with the one difference being the thigh extension available on Overland and Summit. But that doesn't fundamentally change the design of the seat.

 

But adjustability changes (12 way on overland and up), so that can certainly change things for people even if the seat shape/padding is the same.

I don’t recall feeling uncomfortable in my overland seats, the massage isn’t real intense of course but it still feels nice.

 

I thought the only difference adding the "number of ways" is the adjustable thigh support. I can't see how else the seat could even possibly move in more directions.

 

But the adjustment isn’t only about the seat itself moving up/down and forward/backward.

Lumbar movement up/down + firmness, thigh cushion adjustment, and side bolster support are all comfort items above standard movements.

 

lumbar up/down + firmness is part of the regular power seat. Not just Overland and above trims. I mentioned the thigh extension. Thanks for indicating that the side bolsters can move in and out on the Overland and above.

 

Yeah those must be the extra 4 then for overland and up (if equipped? Don’t recall if it’s still an extra seating package), thigh extension in/out and side bolsters wide/narrow.

 

Welp, guess I better chime in, best example here, have the Axis 2, Lux 2 seat, heated and vented, I came from a KL with just heated nappa leather and can't say there was any difference in the cushion or support.

Been on 2 long drives and the adjustment and memory helps a lot, have a bad back, once adjusted they are pretty comfortable.

 

The seat foam quality/density changes as you move up the option & trim chain.

 

Where has that ever been stated? I've seen no such information on the WL, but would love to know the details.
